You have knowledge, you have a ... festival!

The students of the Faculty of Communication Sciences of Politehnica University Timisoara organized the PoliCult General Culture Contest on Wednesday, May 23rd at the UPT Student Cantina. The participants were challenged to test their knowledge of general culture during three elimination stages, with themes in the fields of IT, literature, music, arts, film, biochemistry, politics, history, geography, logic, the questions being multiple-choice.

The participants could sign up in teams of two and compete for the prizes that were offered: 1st prize - Revolution Festival subscription, 2nd prize - subscription to Sunset Festival, 3rd prize - Daily Pass at Revolution Festival.

The atmosphere of the event was a pleasant one, the informal ambiance allowed the participants to relax, and a good relationship was formed between the participants and the organizers to conduct the PoliCult event. About 60 students enrolled. Most of the teams were UPT students, but there were also mixed teams, one UPT student and the other from another university center.

The participants did unexpectedly well, the event being still proof that the students of Politehnica University Timisoara have extensive knowledge in different fields of general culture.
