Liga AC LABS: Students put theory into practice

An already traditional project at the Faculty of Automation and Computers of Politehnica University Timișoara, Liga AC LABS, has reached the eleventh edition. The official opening took place on Monday, February 24, 2020, at UPT Conference Center.

As part of the project, organized by the Student Organization of the Faculty of Automation and Computers (Liga AC), with the support of Politehnica University Timișoara, the large IT&C companies in Timisoara will give laboratories throughout the second semester of the academic year. Thus, the students can test their knowledge acquired during the years of study, they can improve them and they have the chance to develop their professional skills thus contacting the business environment.

This year's edition brought 22 companies and 35 laboratories supported within the project where passionate students from the IT field can participate, regardless of the faculty where they study.

During the opening, the representatives of the 22 partner companies presented the 35 laboratories that they will support this year, in the form of the individual stands that were located in the hall of the Conference Center of Politehnica University Timișoara, and the students could find out information about each one so as to make the right choice.

Liga AC LABS is held every year for a period of four months during the second semester.
