UPT has been honored with four awards

Romanian Academy Awards

We want to mention that the Politehnica University of Timisoara concernings and efforts to encourage performance and excellence, were again rewarded. UPT has been honored with four awards from the Romanian Academy, as follows:

• Section "Technical Sciences" award "Constantin Budeanu" for the book " Dual rotor single stator permanent magnet motors for hybrid electrical vehicles", Authors: Lucian Nicolae Tutelea and Sorin-Ioan Deaconu;

• Section "Agricultural and Forestry Sciences" award "Gheorghe Ionescu-Siseşti" for the book "Drainages", Volume 1 and 2, the author Teodor Man;

• Section "Information Science and Technology" prize "Grigore Moisil" for the group of three works: "Contributions to the optimization of the fuzzy systems" Authors: Radu-Emil Precup, Radu-Codruţ David, Emil M. Petriu, Ştefan Preitl, Mircea-Bogdan Rădac;

• Section "Science and Information Technology" award "Tudor Tănăsescu" for the group of four works: "Advanced Automation," senior author Gheorghe-Daniel Andreescu.

We congratulate the winners and wish them to continue the series of impressive scientific achievements.
