Collaboration protocol between UPT and the Timișoara 2021 Association
Politehnica University Timisoara, together with the other institutions of higher education in the city, signed on Thursday, September 26, 2019, a protocol of collaboration with the Association of Timisoara 2021 - European Capital of Culture, expressing its common interest for the cultural development strategy of Timisoara and establish cooperation modalities to support the project "Timișoara 2021 - European Capital of Culture".
Among the priorities of the partners are the mutual information of the aspects relevant to both parties, exchange of good practices, integration of resources, implementation of joint projects, promotion of common cultural events and actions. Timișoara Association 2021 - European Capital of Culture is the entity that implements the project, and the university environment plays an extremely important role in the life of Timișoara, students and university teachers actively contributing to the cultural life of the city
From Politehnica University Timisoara, the collaboration protocol was signed by the rector of the institution, Prof. eng. Viorel-Aurel Șerban, PhD, and from the Association of Timisoara 2021 - European Capital of Culture, by its president, eng. ec. Horațiu-Valentin Rada.
