"Eminent Student" Gala, at the XXIV edition

Amphitheater "Alexander Rogojan" of Politehnica University Timisoara, hosted Tuesday, December 10th, 2019, The XXIV edition of the "Eminent Student" Gala, organized by the "Orizonturi Universitare" Association, Local Council Timisoara and the Timisoara Branch of the Romanian Academy.

The award and the Diploma "Eminent Student" were awarded to a student from the faculties of the state universities (POlitehnica University Timisoara, Western University, University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Victor Babeş ", University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Banat) and of the private ones (Tibiscus University, "Ioan Slavici" University). In total, 36 students were rewarded for their efforts with diplomas, cash prizes and books.

The "Eminent Researcher" Award and Diploma is awarded to researchers - young teachers, under 35 years old - from the mentioned universities, with recently defended doctoral thesis and with remarkable results in the university activity and consists of the diploma, prize money, books and the free publication of a book at the "Orizonturi Universitare" publishing house. This year two "Eminent Researcher" awards were awarded, one to a researcher from Politehnica University Timisoara and from the Western University.

Also, the “Ion Țiriac” Prize was awarded for outstanding results in sports and university activity.

4. Szalai Viktor, Faculty of Civil Engineering, 3rd year, average 10,
5. Vacariu Andrei Nicolae, Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technologies, year IV, average 9.71,
6. Dumitrescu Claudia Loredana, Faculty of Electrical and Power Engineering, year IV, average 9.44,
7. Armioni Diana Miruna, Faculty of Engineering in Hunedoara, year IV, average 10,
8. Saracin Robert Lucas, Faculty of Management in Production and Transportation, year III, average 9.89,
9. Cosa Alexandru Viorel, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, year IV, average 10,
10. Cenuse Maria Laura, Faculty of Communication Sciences, 3rd year, average 10.

Popa Călin Adrian, from the Faculty of Automation and Computers within UPT obtained the diploma and the award "Eminent Researcher 2019".
