Hundreds of high school and university students interested in a career in the Romanian Intelligence Service (SRI
On Wednesday, February 28, 2024, hundreds of high school and university students gathered at the Conference Center Auditorium of Politehnica University Timișoara and in the parking lot in front of the UPT Library to attend a presentation by the Romanian Intelligence Service (SRI). The presentation focused on the institution's role in national security and safety, as well as career opportunities.
In the foyer of the UPT Conference Center, students had access to a mini-exhibition of technology developed by the Institute of Advanced Technologies, along with promotional and informational materials regarding the possibilities of joining SRI in various fields of activity.
Furthermore, in the parking lot in front of the UPT Library, a presentation took place showcasing the equipment used by antiterrorist and pyrotechnic intervention structures, as well as the missions of the Antiterrorist Brigade.
In the UPT Conference Center Auditorium, specialists from the Romanian Intelligence Service delivered presentations on the following domains: information-operational and information analysis, counter-terrorism, software and hardware development, forensics (Institute for Advanced Technologies), information systems administration, and cybersecurity.
The presentations highlighted career opportunities in intelligence for both university students and graduates, as well as high school students who have the chance to apply for special positions dedicated to the Romanian Intelligence Service during the admission process at Politehnica University Timișoara.
At the end of the event, participants were invited to the nearby area for in-depth discussions with representatives of the institution, addressing topics of interest from the presentations and exploring career possibilities within the Romanian Intelligence Service.
