The transition period, in which Romania was attractive to foreign investors only in terms of cheap labor, has come to an end, so managers are already looking for new business development strategies in the future. In this respect, on Friday, April 5, 2019, a Framework Cooperation Agreement with Confindustria Romania, an association of Italian entrepreneurs in Romania, mostly small and medium-sized enterprises, was signed at the UPT Rectorate.
The general framework of collaboration aims at higher education of the future employees of the Italian companies, the cooperation relations between UPT and Confindustria Romania will be developed through a series of actions:
The signing of the agreement was attended by Mr. Roberto Marchetto, President of Timis Territory of Confindustria Romania, Mr. Niccolò Maso, Honorary Consul of the Italian Republic in Timişoara, prof. eng. Viorel-Aurel Şerban, PhD, Rector of Politehnica University Timişoara, and prof. eng. Marius Oteşteanu, PhD, Vice-Rector of UPT.
