National Mathematics Olympiad

Over 150 participants at UPT

The 68^th edition of the National Mathematics Olympiad took place in Timisoara between 19^th and 23^rd of April, where students from the 5^th to the 12^th grade participated. Politehnica Univeristy Timisoara was co-orgranizer.

“We know the difficulties and the challenges which the Romanian students are facing. However, we are aware of their intellectual abilities and we admire the effort they do for performance. Given this, Politehnica Univeristy Timisoara engages in helping these students’ needs and looks to support their development with all the methods that can be used.” declared prof. PhD Liviu Cădariu-Brăiloiu, prorector at Politehnica Univeristy Timisoara.

Also on this occasion, UPT was visited by 150 participants students, who were given a tour to UPT’s Library and 6 of the most significant laboratories of the University.
