Opera afternoon at UPT

If students do not go to the Opera (and the statistics worryingly show that over 80% of the young people do not attend opera shows), the Opera comes to the young people. Representatives of the Romanian Opera in Timișoara, led by director Cristian Rudic, met, on December 12, 2019, with the students of Politehnica University Timișoara.

During the meeting, which had the theme "Link to culture", Mr. Cristian Rudic spoke to students about the importance of culture in completing specialized training, about broadening the cultural horizon, about the special offers of the Timisoara Opera for students and, as a pleasant and unexpected surprise, he , along with his colleagues, gave a recital with famous arias of works, which delighted the young people, who applauded minutes in a row.

Moreover, even if it is a higher technical institution, Politehnica University Timisoara has always paid special attention to the culture, proof of this being the numerous artistic events organized or hosted by UPT (concerts, book launches, cultural evenings, exhibitions, art film screenings, etc.).

The meeting with the students came to strengthen the good collaboration relationships established between the Romanian Opera and Politehnica University Timisoara, establishing, with this occasion, the joint organization of new events.
