Politehnica University Timisoara provides accommodation

for all its students

Politehnica University Timisoara has always been concerned with providing some optimal study and accommodation conditions, being one of the few higher education institutions that fully covers accommodation requests from its students, both at the level of bachelor's degree programs and at the masters or doctorate level.

UPT has 16 student dorms, two of which are studios, the total accommodation capacity being 6067 seats. The rooms are equipped with furniture, refrigerators, fully equipped kitchens and laundries, as well as Internet access. During summer, Politehnica University Timisoara invested over 200,000 euros for the summer repairs and endowments at the dormitories and canteens in the campus.

After the July admission session, the total number of accommodation requests (pre - accommodations + students admitted in the first year) was 5450 seats. The available places will be allocated to students seeking accommodation after the September admission session.

The accommodation fees in the hostel are between 95 - 220 lei / person per month, depending on the dorm’s comfort degree, student room count, and whether the applicant is paying tuition or not. Both accommodation and meals of UPT students are provided at subsidized prices.

This year, for students coming from rural high-schools, UPT provides free accommodation for one year and 10 free meal tickets every month.
