Event at the 6th edition

Future engineers, currently students or master students of the Faculty of Electrical and Power Engineering at Politehnica University Timişoara, have demonstrated their abilities during the Student Scientific Communication Session, an event that has already become a tradition now at its sixth edition.

The event started on Thursday, May 23, 2019, with the festive opening, which took place in the K1 amphitheater of the UPT Conference Center and continued on May 24, 2019, presenting and supporting the works in the faculty laboratories. The special guest at the opening was prof. eng. Aurel Câmpeanu, PhD, from the University of Craiova, who just a few hours ago received the title of Honorary Professor of Politehnica University Timișoara.

The project is addressed to all undergraduate and master students at the Faculty of Electrical and Power Engineering, and they have the opportunity to present their scientific papers in front of a committee made up of faculty teachers. Then, as a result of the research results presented in the articles, the papers will be published in a magazine with ISSN code.

During the Student Scientific Session, tens of papers were presented, distributed on the two sections of the event: Electrical Engineering and Power Engineering.
