The "Cultural Capital with Cătălin Ștefănescu" Dialogues at Politehnica University Timisoara are broadcast on TVR
In a year filled with cultural events, Politehnica University Timisoara managed to offer a program that has proven extremely valuable for the Timisoara community and beyond. The first edition of the "Cultural Capital with Cătălin Ștefănescu" program set out to introduce a new format of evening meetings designed to share new knowledge, ideas, and experiences.
Throughout the ten evenings, multidisciplinary topics were explored, bringing together science, technology, literature, and the arts within the same space. In a heritage building of Politehnica, the former Restaurant, the ARChA hall, a space that has historically served as a meeting place in various forms, was inaugurated for this occasion. It is now on a mission to become a cultural, artistic, and interdisciplinary destination.
Each meeting took place in a spectacular atmosphere, combining a touch of familiarity with a live audience and music provided by the Radu Vâlcu Quintet. The invited guests shared their professional journeys, described their paths to success, their perspectives on Romania from the places they have chosen to live and express themselves, and how they fit into the civilization model in which they have become who they are today.
The broadcast of these interviews will take place over the course of ten weeks, every Friday at 10:00 PM on TVR Cultural and every Monday at 4:00 PM on TVR2, starting from October 20, 2023.

- Raluca Popa, university professor and entrepreneur;

- Alexandru Mărmureanu, surgeon;
- Adrian Constantin, mathematician;
- Aurora Simionescu, astrophysicist.
