The ideas of the students, awarded by SAS UPT

The Student Entrepreneurial Society of Politehnica University Timişoara (SAS UPT) organized on Thursday, December 13, 2018, a new meeting for students who want to start a business. "Student to Startup (S2S)" was organized as a business ideas competition addressed to students with initiative spirit.

Students, organized in teams, presented innovative, pragmatic business ideas with positive impact on the environment and the community, the best being rewarded with prizes.

Also, during the meeting, students had the opportunity to discuss various business development opportunities, financing, partnerships, material resources, workspaces, business plans, and more. The tips came from partners and supporters of the tradition of student initiatives such as Nokia or Innovation Labs.

The meeting took place at the PoliHub at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, 3rd floor, Room 137, where a student business accelerator was developed through the CNFIS-FDI-2018-0533 project.

Such meetings will also be organized in the future, with a frequency of at least one per month, the Student Entrepreneurial Society of UPT wishing to be the first step on the way to entrepreneurship by offering counseling and support to students with initiative.
