University Politehnica Timisoara and Technical University of Munich

have signed a cooperation agreement

The working visit done by a delegation from the Politehnica University Timișoara in Germany, at the invitation of colleagues from Technical University of Muenchen, was materialized by signing a new cooperation agreement between the two universities, which certifies the continuation of the good collaboration ongoing for over 20 years.

The continuation of the double diploma agreement expresses the trust of the largest technical university in Germany in the quality of the educational process at the Politehnica University Timisoara. The fact that we are the only partners in Romania of the well-known German university honors us and compels us to keep the highest standards in the education activity we are doing.” mentioned prof. Viorel-Aurel ŞERBAN, PhD, rector of UPT.

This agreement, as well as the possibilities of identifying new partnerships during the visit (in the fields of: Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering), represents another international recognition for the University Politehnica Timișoara.

The UPT delegation was led by Mr. Rector Prof.eng. Viorel-Aurel ȘERBAN, PhD, and was composed of:

- Prof.eng. Florin DRĂGAN, PhD, Vice-Rector of UPT;
