Welding professionals gathered at UPT

The ”Welding 2018” Conference

On April 26th-27th 2018, at the UPT Conference Center, the works of the "Welding 2018" conference, organized by the Welding Association of Romania (ASR), in collaboration with Politehnica University Timisoara and Timisoara branch of ASR, take place.

The conference, which is addressed to industry, research and higher education specialists, has a broad theme, including novelties in the field of processes, materials and applications, with a special focus on industry 4.0, additive manufacturing, merging of new materials, industrial applications laser, automation of welding processes. Finally, the papers presented at the conference are published in a volume of papers published on CD.

On the occasion of the conference, an exhibition in the field of welding was organized in the lobby of the UPT Conference Center.

At the "Welding 2018" conference was also scheduled the General Assembly of the Romanian Welding Association.
